31. The Vision Plus caravan.

Quite off the topic but the man in the foreground in profile is one of the
three men of my tent-neighbors. They said that they came from the same
town as Inigo Cuesta. They were happy that I painted his name.

32. The Bouygues Telecom caravan. They threw T-shirts sparingly and I got
one.

Part VIII

30. The Nestle Aquarel caravan. It featured a crazy doctor (or mad scientist?),
a nurse, a priest of some sort and other costumed characters.

They were plugging their product and I really really appreciated them.
Bottles of water I got from them.
Isn't this Aquarel buggy cool? I think it is not street legal because it misses
lights or other safety features.

0 (zero) % calorie. But wait! I have heard 0 (zero) calorie but not 0%.
What does 100% calorie mean, then?

I could see this nurse getting darker and darker everyday. She was
tanning gradually.

100% family? Does that mean 100% family-oriented? Does that mean that
all the family member (a baby to adults) can drink?

100% natural, maybe so.

People are reaching out for something. That something is a bottle of water.

Prix Familial? What does that mean? Family price? Does that mean
that the price of the bottled water is affordable?

This clown girl did not say a word. Why?

100% lightness or 100% mildness? I think it means that gentle on your
stomach, anyway.

The fire fighter sprays people and people love it when it is really hot.

100% freshness or coolness? Anyway, maybe freshness.

Part VII

24. The PMU caravan.




The dancing girls. I was disappointed to see only one Skoda dancing team in
the entire caravan in 2006. This year, 2007, the situation improved greatly.
Even the PMU had a dedicated dancing girls.

The green hands.

For some reason, this picture above is the best shot I took during TdF 2007.

The dancing girl taken at Stage 4 start. This slender girl was different.
Other girls danced while this girl's movement was very, very sharp.
It seemed to me that she was a professionally trained dancer.

big green hand and the other is, I think, rare.)


25. The Tele 7 Jours caravan. What is it? Is it a television program magazine?

26. The Police Nationale caravan should be here. It is mixed up with
Prefectures caravan. See 23. The Prefectures caravan.


27. The Xtra Minidou caravan. The detergent caravan.

29. Force Ouvrière caravan. Now I know what FO stands for. FOHebdo. What is

Part VI

These are the freebies that have to be sorted out and taken pictures
of. A box full of the goods lies in my room.

Part V

19. The Cofidis caravan.

Look! This one has the stage start/finish sign. I never realized that subtle
message until I resized the photo to upload here.

20. The roadsign caravan. It was also promoting the Tour down under.


The car is registered in Germany. HF suggests Herford. I don't know
this city.

21. The Etap Hotel caravan. I recently (end of August) found out that one
of them was near my place. It was on my way from Stuttgart when I
saw the Etap Hotel sign.

The man standing on the truck was always wearing pajamas.

22. The Cochonou caravan. Tasty! I got one of the rare freebies from them.

23. The Prefectures caravan. But this The National Police organization
caravan (26) came instead.
This National Police came after Cochonou that day (Stage 16).

This is the right car, Prefectures cars.

On the other hand, this photo clearly shows that National Police car was
before Etap Hotel caravan this day (Stage 4). According to
"L'Eaufficiel de la Caravane" by Aquarel, National police caravan should be
number 26 between Tele 7 Jours (25) and Xtra Minidou (27).
