Tour de France 2010: Team Presentation Part IV

Team Presentation: Thursday, July 1stTeam Milram (Germany) features 141 Linus Gerdemann, 142 Gerald Ciolek, 143 Johannes Fröhlinger, 144 Roger Kluge, 145 Christian Knees, 146 Luke Roberts (AUS), 147 Thomas Rohregger (AUT), 148 Niki Terpestra (NED), 149 Fabian Wegmann.

Linus Gerdemann talked about the soccer games and was right about the German National team's game date. He may come on board to the new Luxembourg based team next year.

Christian Knees wore the German National Champion jersey. I guess his wife's (or girlfriend's) or dauther's name is Tenja. I noticed this tattoo on his right arm. Please notice that in German J is like Y, so this reads like Tanya.

Who is Tenja?

Gramin-Transitions (USA)
51 Christian Vande Velde, 52 Julian Dean (NZL), 53 Tyler Farrar, 54 Ryder Hesjedal (CAN), 55 Robbie Hunter (RSA), 56 Martijn Maaskant (NED), 57 David Millar (GBR), 58 Johan Van Summeren (BEL), 59 David Zabriskie.
Here are the gangs.

Christian Vande Velde was upbeat that day. Poor Christian, though. He eventually went out of the race due to injury.

Here Dave is relaxed sitting on the bike.

David Zabriskie got on the bike again.

Now he hangs on to the handle bar and pretends that he is focused (but not really).

Robert Hunter is gesturing and encouraging some audience to blow that annoying vuvuzela because he had hard time NOT falling asleep, I guess.

As you can see Tyler Farrar stayed pat all the time. He is an amazing guy.

BMC Racing Team (USA)

Cadel Evans looked very relaxed.

He was all smiles.

George Hincape looked all-American in this Natinal Champion jersery.

Denis Menchov's mind is wondering off.

Denis Menchov looks like a monk contemplating on the boring aspect of life.
